To print aligners in your office, you will need a 3D scanner and a 3D printer. Our ArchForm experts will help you find the one that fits your needs.
All .obj or .stl data from your scanning system is compatible with ArchForm. If you are unsure of how to get access to your data, you can always reach out to one of our experts.
It always depends on the severity of the case, but to give you an idea, our regular users set up small corrections in as little as 5 minutes from import of the original scans to starting the print on their 3D printer, whereas more complex cases can take 20-30 min.
ArchForm gives control over cases back to the doctor. We offer free 1-on-1 training and round-the-clock support in setting up your cases. Instead of paying $1,700 per patient with Invisalign, ArchForm’s in-office treatment planning software costs $14-$50 per patient, depending on which monthly plan you choose. There are two printers that the majority of ArchForm users choose for their offices - the Formlabs Form 3 and the Sprintray Pro.
For offices needing fast turnaround for high volume, we recommend the SprintRay Pro for its manufacturing speed of 20 models every two hours.
If an easy, plug-and-print setup is a priority for just printing a few models at a time, the Formlabs Form 3 is a great choice as well.
Other printers, such as the Anycubic Photon S and the Phrozen Sonic XL printers, are more affordable with very high resolution models, but they are harder to work with and do not have as long of a lifespan before they have to be repaired or replaced.
